NWHS mission is to enable efficient electrification of water heating in residential, commercial and industrial applications, allowing our customers to transition to a renewable, sustainable energy system.

Job Description:

We are looking for a Service Technician with a focus on RefrigerationBuilding Automation and Controls to strengthen our customer support team based in the Mid-Atlantic or New England Region of the US. Your responsibilities will include the following:

  • Service calls: Go to customer sites to repair equipment including warranty and non-warranty work.
  • Equipment installations and start-ups: Visit customer sites to install and start-up new equipment, including training of customer operators.
  • Fulfill quarterly and annual service contracts
  • The successful applicant should expect to travel 70%-80% of the time. Travel can be day trips and overnights, typically throughout the US & Canada.
  • Telephone support: When not traveling, take customer telephone calls with a wide variety of questions about technical support and equipment usage.
  • When not traveling and not involved in service calls, train on new capabilities
  • The position reports to the Director of Service and has room to grow.
  • Relocation is not required for this position

Job Requirements and qualifications:

  • The successful candidate will combine great people skills with a thorough technical understanding of our products and a drive to provide consistently great customer service.
  • Deep knowledge of design and implementation of heat pump / refrigeration systems
  • Some knowledge of plumbing
  • Good written and verbal communication skills.
  • Good conflict resolution skills.
  • Must have a clean driving record.
  • Must have EPA Certification.
  • Results driven. High energy and drive and focus on meeting commitments.
  • Able to track expenses promptly and accurately
  • Must have or be able to get a valid passport to support occasional travel to Canada
